When was the last time you were assigned a research project? In what subject was it? What did you do? How did you feel about it? What did you think about it? Was it hard? Easy? Interesting? Boring? A burden? A joy? What was your project about? Did your teacher give you a choice of topics or was a topic assigned to you?
The last time i was assigned a research project was in Junior year. The research project was assigned in my English class. The research project was based on the novel "The Great Gatsby". Every student had to pick a topic she presented to us and i picked gender roles. In the research paper we had to use examples from "The Great Gatsby" and we had to look through databases to find more sources to use in our research paper. I didn't think the research paper was hard it was just a long project and took a lot of time, but we did most of it in class. After i was done with the research paper i was satisfied with how it came out because i put a lot of work into it and received a good grade.
